This Liverpool is a weird side. They clearly need upgrades in both fullback positions and at least 2 central midfielders and yet they just continue to buy more attackers. All that money spent over the last 2 seasons and they are still finishing games with Szoboszlai playing RB.

yep its a shit show - how we have fallen behind the last couple of seasons despite winning 24/25 and $'s spent last year and froggin now Barcola @ 123M lbs ffs.
Yer I get the need to replace MO but seriously as mentioned the market prices today is madness.
Yep need another defensive midfielder - RB is lacking let alone not comfortable with LB And worse all this Gakpo transfer noise.
WTF.
On top of it all we have NO mongrel soft as on the pitch.

There’s a pretty dodgy undercurrent to that transfer with regards to his former club Brescia. A club RDZ was also heavily involved in.

Yeah I probably phrased it wrong. I wasn’t saying that transfers over €100 million are specific to England, but rather that transfers over £100 million were the norm in England but not elsewhere. Look at the market value of English players and squads versus those in other countries.

Yeah, indeed the EPL is leading the way but Saudi and Spain only add fuel to the fire.. The 100 mill euro transfer , as unimaginable as it seemed only a decade ago, is now being thrown around as the "middle ground".

Monaco bought in an 18 year old German striker from Borussia Dortmund.about 2 years ago for €4 million called Paris Brunner....

They then loaned hom out to Circle Bruges in Belgium for a while and now he's in the Monaco first team....

I watched the Monaco game today and he tore Marseille a new one...

Absolute gun of a player.

A Premier League club will probably come along and pay €60m for him next year.
