2026 Australia Cup final rounds thread

I really hope that is true, but I highly doubt it. Cant see our numbers being any greater than 1300 given the reduced capacity enforced on Preston.
Im not really fussed either way, we have fulfilled our end of the bargain towards creating a great night, the rest is up to them.

Dont know if I believe it but Ive been told we were allocated 2000 tickets, if so thats magnificent.
No way you can fit 2,000 back there. We were allocated about 1200. With a game of such magnitude i reckon even 3,000 would have been snapped up. Thats why its important beyond tonight that we make sure the rematch next weekend is at our ground so more people can see it.

Doubt there’s a single dutch person at the clubs now anyway Ala Ringwood in Melbourne or Manly in Sydney
Nick Van Egmond from Melbourne (apparently not related to the Sydney version) was a Wilhelmina alumni. He recently passed away. But, I know he was more heavily involved at another club in his later years.

revealed on Paramount that South Melbourne were allocated 1700 tickets for tonight's game as per pregame interview Archie Thompson did with its manager Sinisa Cohadzic moments ago.

The result could be huge or sting like a mother for South fans particularly.

Good luck where it is needed and be skillful where it isn't.
It would sting, but we would have a chance at redemption when we play them in NPL finals, but only if it results in us winning the GF.

But in any case, the Australia Cup is becoming more attainable as a goal for all NPL clubs, so we can’t discount another run or 2 over the next few seasons
