Semi finals scheduled between 8-20 September. Victory has an AFC Champions League Two match in Vietnam that it must be in Hanoi by September 13.

I will say this, victory as a club have had a particularly average cup experience since the comps inception. They seem to mainly play a random Tasmanian club or Canberra club and an a league team and get knocked out.

Contrast that with Sydney fc who have had a cup day against (and don’t quote me, this is off the top of my head) Sydney united twice, Sydney Olympic, APIA, Rockdale, South Melbourne, western Sydney wanderers etc

The only npl vic club i ever recall MV playing was Hume (maybe twice).

Even City have had a better run (heidelberg 11k katsouranis game), the Oakleigh quarter or semi cant recall but they won 3-2. Also played South but that was ruined by Covid (crowd capped at 4k)

The thing about his mentality is that anything that isn't a souless corporate hellscape is dilapidated. It has seats, it has a dedicated football pictue, it has a electronic scoreboard, it has a canteen, it has comfortable covered grandstand seating. What do people want? But then you look into it and realise it isn't about the ground at all, it who plays at it.

BTW, " it has a canteen" is that now the requirement for professional football in Australia to move forward into the 21st century.

I agree that your ground is perfectly fine for NPL level, but nothing more.

Remember you were the one going on about shithouses in Moorebank.

SMFC have a decent ground, although not theirs, but decent all the same.
