I wouldn’t be so sure TBH. As a club we haven’t played continental football for nearly 7 years(excluding the playoff-loss to Iniesta’s Vissel Kobe side during Popa’s tenure), and our current squad(which isn’t even complete yet) has no experience playing on this stage. FC Seoul’s presence alone means we can’t afford any slip-ups against the other 2.

He had 12 months left on his contract, so we can pretty safely assume there was a transfer fee.

I wonder of Nish is going to St Pauli? Maybe some of his Socceroos team mates put in a good word for him? Anyway, good luck to him. It was time to go.

We obviously have Grimaldi ready to step in his role... But from what I have seen in the Australia Cup, maybe we have a longer term replacement in Mikey Ghossaini.

Not sure whether Taylor Ray is going to be pursuing other opportunities outside of football or jumping ship elsewhere in the Dub but if she does move to another side she'll be playing for her third club in the space of three seasons.
