Sign Up Now!From what I saw looking them up, they note they are the only Australian club to be included in the top 100 clubs worldwide twice (guessing it was some sort of annual list)Sad, previously a historic club connected to the Maltese community. They still claim that history but there’s now a break away club in the lower leagues called melita eagles

You can polish a turd springs to mind. That would make a great football stadium ! That can definitely hold matches for A League, Australian Championship, Australia Cup and any NPL NSW Finals.
Looks like a great set up.
We just need the Queensland Government to redevelop Brisbane's Perry Park into a 10-12,000 boutique stadium.
Again, only problem will be for APIA, what do they do in the interim while its out of action. My 2c is that they should just play out of their traditional home in lambert park for the time being. Have they been using proper Leichardt Oval during the season??Again, only problem will be for APIA, what do they do in the interim while out of action. My 2c is that they should just play out of their traditional home in lambert park for the time being. It’s small but it has character
Sometimes, most of their regular season games are at lambert park but they do play the odd game at Leichhardt. They’ve toyed with the idea of going there full time before, played the odd season there and then gone back to lambert again. Played finals there, always played aus championship and aus cup there. I think they had a season or two in the nsl there.Have they been using proper Leichardt Oval during the season??
Wasn’t sure what thread to put it in, but for those outside of Sydney. Leichhardt oval to shut in a couple of weeks time and undergo a redevelopment. Set to reopen in 2028. This is what’s planned;

settle......where will APIA play in the mean time?
do we need a caravan meme for them too now?
Your club sound like Gypsies.settle......
I'll take a leading functioning caravan anyday over a club like SO with hardly anywhere as a home and shaky future - Lambert can suffice like it has to this day and long may it continue !
In saying that Leichardt once completed will be dam good 2nd ground !
In the meantime I wonder IF we are approaching Concord Council and the Tigers board considering they have a skin in our Championship journey......

There is plans installing lights - when who knows.
Crazy you spend $84M and NO lights incl - ridiculous.
Inter Lions make use of it for eg - koffs midday on pre dusk.
Yer I'm reaching but in the council zone.
Drummoyne Oval
Removable football posts - sure its cricket/gayfl circular but its got a good surface for playing our game and lights !![]()

I have only really seen it take off in NSW. I believe there is a Namoi club playing in a regional league (not NPL Pyramid) in NNSW, and then Murray United and Goulburn Valley Suns in Vic, and I think one in Gippsland as well. Also was a South West Phoenix in WA that I am not sure if it does senior level, but did junior level playing into Perth/WA NPL youth out of Bunbury
