From what I saw looking them up, they note they are the only Australian club to be included in the top 100 clubs worldwide twice (guessing it was some sort of annual list)

Again, only problem will be for APIA, what do they do in the interim while its out of action. My 2c is that they should just play out of their traditional home in lambert park for the time being. It’s small but it has character

Sometimes, most of their regular season games are at lambert park but they do play the odd game at Leichhardt. They’ve toyed with the idea of going there full time before, played the odd season there and then gone back to lambert again. Played finals there, always played aus championship and aus cup there. I think they had a season or two in the nsl there.

Sydney Olympic also played there for a number of years in the nsl in the 90s

It’s also hosted npl grand finals and Waratah state cup finals in the past

I'll take a leading functioning caravan anyday over a club like SO with hardly anywhere as a home and shaky future - Lambert can suffice like it has to this day and long may it continue !

In saying that Leichardt once completed will be dam good 2nd ground !

In the meantime I wonder IF we are approaching Concord Council and the Tigers board considering they have a skin in our Championship journey......

Bunbury has had an on-again off-again presence in the NPL/state leagues in WA.

For a time they had a merger with Ashfield (Ashfield Dynamo), who are in Perth so a bit of a weird one.

Then they went alone as SW Phoenix (not sure they went any higher than state league 2), but eventually struggled for numbers so pulled their senior team whilst retaining the junior NPL.

Now that junior NPL has been done away with in WA I'm unsure if they have any metro presence any more.
 
I think we can make some calls on other premiers now.

Oakleigh are pretty much locked, only really needing a draw from the last two matches.
Bayswater City have a 3 point and +15 GD break, they're safe.

For Monaro, they need to win and Croatia to lose for places to switch there.
And it's Sutherland's to lose in NSW.
