I believe this mostly relates to Youth and Women's - but nonetheless there had been rumours swirling that Capital Football were seeking to walk back their 'no promotion/relegation for 2026 and 2027' change from last year. That now seems put to bed

Heidelberg not at the races today. Preston a bit too quick and polished. 3-1 was a fair score. Nice crowd as well, probably around 6k.

If we get through tomorrow night will be an uphill battle there in the quarters.

Preston deserved winners in the 2026 Dockerty Cup. The crowd was well over 5,000. Good turnout.

And to think Football Victoria had these big matches played in the past at the Home of the Matildas. Just beggars belief.
