I think so too. They’ve got some of the best players in the world. I think it’ll be close though, the WSL and WSL 2 have really strengthened across the board this transfer window and I think that’s only gonna continue.

I think Man U will finish below Arsenal, Chelsea, City, LCL and Spurs though. They’ve had a pretty quiet transfer window whereas the top three from last season only strengthened and both LCL (especially) and Spurs have invested more into their squads.

I mean it is a bunch of Kiwi players selected pretty much at random (neither this nor the All Stars are actually the best Dub players unfortunately), up against Chelsea who’re one of the best teams in the world. The All Stars only lost 1–0 to Arsenal in the inaugural game.
 
Aside from the mismatch.
Chelsea haven’t been one of the best teams in the world for many years.
Dub - such a stupid name.
They should really look into changing to something respectful.

Yes they have. They won the domestic treble unbeaten only two seasons ago. They’ve still got world-class players (one of which is our very own Ellie Carpenter). The only thing they haven’t won is the Champions League which Barça and Lyon usually win (except the one season Arsenal won it but won nothing else).

It’s short for “W-League”. The league was called the W-League for years until they changed it to be aligned with the A-League Men (which used to be just the A-League).

Fans came up with the name. I don’t see how it’s disrespectful. What’s the men’s top flight of England called? The Prem.

Why does a group of players be called Dub - couldn’t think of something better I suppose.

It wasn’t coined by a vote. Most terms in every language aren’t. Someone makes the word and people start using it.

It sounds dumb.
Dub dub dub - sounds like a child’s thing or whatever - the need for a gimmick - some suit some not.
Recommend just stay with ALW to me.

The Auckland FC women's invitational XI had the likes of Peta Trimis and Avaani Prakash in their playing list though.
