Holman Barnes Group have reached an agreement with the APL and Total Soccer Growth Holdings to be the new operators of Central Coast Mariners' A-League Women side ahead of Dub season 2026-27 getting underway on Saturday, October 17th.

IIRC Brazil had the rules changed because the Bolivians would always play in the stadium with the highest altitude and the Brazilians at best could only hope for a draw - the excuse was player welfare. The Bolivians counted that Brazil always chose the hottest part of the day to play and that heat stroke was a more pressing problem. The Bolivians lost.
I had a quick look at how many Bolivian players (who are not part of the diaspora) are playing around the world. Not many, and predominantly in the lower leagues. None are in the top 5 leagues.

Protocol B is being used in English football. From the Premier League to the WSL, if a goalkeeper goes down with an injury during the game that isnā€™t as a result of a foul, then the manager or head coach will have to nominate a player to come off the field for 60 seconds once the game has restarted.

The A-Leagues will be trialling Protocol A, meaning the captain must come off the field.
