Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

Doesnt count if he isnt getting decent minutes.

Otherwise could just count overy, neill, arena etc.

Why we called the golden gen 'The golden Gen', was because they were all playing regular minutes at a big 5 club or champions keague side from outside the top 5.

I think in that whole squad only milligan, popa and Wilkshire didnt meet that criteria.
I was being a bit silly about it, but could see it in the future.
Just a quick google has Kasey playing in the Eredivise, hopefully he also kicks on.

I really hope Garang Kuol can kick on, but I must say his move to Prague last season really surprised me. In his final year at Newcastle, he was in career-best form for the U21s, and it felt like a move to an English Championship club would have been a better option, especially without having to worry about a new language. Hopefully, he kicks on this year and provides another viable option on the wings for the Socceroos.

if you look at ELO ratings, Sparta Prague are 1548 which is the equivalent of the old firm teams and the upper championship so its a high standard. Furthermore they are in the qualifying rounds of the Champions league, just beating Lyon 2-1 in their 1st leg.

Challenging for a titles each season and playing in the champions league vs the Championship, i know which id rather be.

Time for Nestory to hand in the transfer request.... they are chasing him pretty hard now.

Edit: actually that will fuck his bonuses... hopefully deal gets done soon.

If the Irankunda to sporting, and the Souttar to Cagliari moves end up happening, it means we are only a RWB away from 'golden status' (all players in top 5, or at big CL clubs outside top 5).

That is if we have Kuol at LW, Irankunda at CF and count Devlin at Rangers as meeting golden criteria.

Irankunda (CL club)
Kuol (CL) Volpato (Top 5)
Bos (CL)Okon (T5) Devlin (CL) !?!
H'gton (T5)Souttar(T5)Circati(T5)
Beach (T5)
Souttar currently in League One with Leicester and looks like staying there.

Rangers a big CL club outside top 5 🤣🤣

Definitely a big club but not a club that is regularly in the CL (neither is Celtic mind you)

Dumb Q would he not be costing them a load of cash they no longer have?* I thought they were circulating the toilet also what about financial fair play with his wages in League 1 Anyway, this whole Leicester has been a mess for his club career I assume his bank balance is very healthy from his time there at least.

*unless some relegation pay clause -

Thats why i said further down whether you want to count Devlin.

Definitely when Moore and Vidmar were at Rangers youd have counted them as meeting that criteria but prob not these days. Having said that they are in a bit of a blip atm, and just a couple of yrs ago Celtic and Rangers both had ELO ratings akin to premier league sides after Rangers made the Europa league final.

He was screwed by Newcastle with their loan moves - the U21@!underage manager was the only one that played him properly.

He has alway been best played as a nominal winger that actually plays as an inside forward - like he did at CCMFC and Newcastle U21s. That U21 manager is now the assistant manager at Sparta Prague.
