The ideal situation is to manage to play Hume in one of the finals. They are clearly the weakest team guaranteed a spot in the finals. Especially as they lost that defender to the A League, and did not replace him.

I believe they will fall out of the top 2, to be replaced by Avondale. Preston will lose 3 points (maybe more?) so they cannot obtain that 2nd spot either.

In fact I believe Hume will fall to 4th or 5th. So, ideally I would want South to finish 4th or 5th as well.

If we end up 3rd I believe we will play Heidelberg.

Fremantle City is in fourth place in their respective league just as we are. Not sure how strong the NPL WA competition is.

Surprisingly Italian heavy league in wa by the looks. Can count 4 Italian clubs in there off the top of my head. Approaching the Hellenic density of npl vic. Having said that, never really interacted with Perth soccer so no idea how tangibly Italian these clubs actually are in practice

He is the perfect example of a player that never suited any of our playing styles...the quicker we get someone else in as back up tp juach the happier we will all be.. championship.last time around went went well for us bc we had 2 strikers that were standout...need 2 this time around to be able to turn games that may not be going our way!

Freo is probably the "least Italian" of the 4 these days. The other 3 extremely Italian and all hate each other :) Shame the clubs almost have no fans these days, as from what I have been told, the rivalries were massive back in the days with 5k+ in attendance at some games.

Should be a cake walk for Souths, massive difference between Vic and WA atm.

Yea from what I can tell Freo are a fairly new entity. The travel alone will make it a tough task

They are the sort of matches that give me nightmares... the "cake walks". We had heaps of them during the OFC this year... ;)

Potentially also a similar sporting cultural dynamic in Perth to Adelaide with the wafl/sanfl clubs losing fans to afl and state soccer clubs losing fans to a league clubs
 
Hopefully someone has the balls to ask them why they are threatening fans who post online criticism with legal action? Good opportunity to pull them up on it.
