That’s a weird decision to allow the match to proceed at CB Smith Reserve. The lighting there surely can’t be TV broadcast quality unless they bring in temporary lighting.

That ground can’t hold more than 1,500. Anything more would be a tight squeeze. Not sure how it’s going to deal with ticketing requirements and existing capacity.

Same - would have thought Somers Street could have hosted that match. Can’t see the Knights blocking that. To host it all the way out to Tarneit is ridiculous. Lucky to get 150 people attending.

It seems very late for a team on the other side of the country as well.

Im not sure how much say we get but thats twice now we start at the same time as a huge afl game.

Roar v SFC is at Spencer Park - touted as 5000 capacity with 2500/3000 grandstand seating. They say it officially holds 10,000 - so that is a lot of people standing on each other's heels.

Member sales open 11am Monday, with general public sales from 2pm.

Unless they don't think many people care about the Australia Cup at all I can see it selling out long before it goes to the public sale. Maybe I am expecting my own interest aligns with more people than it really does.

Seems wasteful to have a smaller venue for this fixture.

It is a good venue though I have to say.

Having just seen images of Spencer Park - I totally agree. Can’t see how you can fit more than 5,000-6,000 fans in that ground.

I think lambert Park is perfectly fine, but it looks like they are showcasing the match on paramount plus. Hence why it wont be at Lambert Park.
