See all of those people. They are there to ensure that professionalism is maintained no matter whether pre season is occuring or not.
I'm just trying to bring some balance to the discussion in terms of how they've designed the cup, to try and make it a fair playing field in terms of semi pro & pro clubs in and out of season.
AU are probably the most advanced a league club this preseason, being their 3rd match in 3.5 weeks and soon to be an ACL match. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are 'fit' individually or collectively as a group in terms of 'match fitness'.
It still takes time to develop both of these, even if you have professional coaches, trainers etc working with you day in day out.
