Not to mention the regional, random cups (FA Vase Cup etc) and then the actual FA Cup that they play in as well.

They geninuely get barely any time to themselves, a lot of the clubs are 'semi-pro' fulltime.
 
They’re playing that many games minimum in the English championship, league 1, league 2 etc too. It’s ball park a similar number of games.

A league clubs are playing a minimum of 27 games, nsw based aus championship clubs are playing a minimum of 37 off the top of my head and likely more than 40+ if they don’t get knocked out of the cup first game/make finals etc I’d say that’s a fairly noteworthy number of extra fixtures.

There’s always room for pushback but people seem to be able to take issue with/misconstrue fairly uncontroversial objective statements at times on this forum

ACL 2 and more future spots in these comps should help out with the AL clubs, we played 43 games total in 2024/25. Squads aren't that big here both AL and NPL.

We copped the same

Saturday
Tuesday
Friday

We ran out of legs the second half on friday and were saved that we were playing one of the poorer teams in the comp

This has been going on for years with our federation and unfortunately nothing will change.

If you want to challenge for the premiership or win it, make sure you lose in the early rounds in the cup.

Hasn’t helped Marconi, started losing games as soon as you’d think the lack of cup commitments would start to become an advantage. Against two clubs who have had cup commitments to content with. And overtaken by another club who have had cup commitments

overall this is the beauty of the game as harsh as it is when going against you.....
Aside from the usual extra games/injuries/bad rulings WE 3 Clubs always have targets on our backs as well no matter our line ups.

How good is young Ortiz - 17 goals so far, certainly enjoying his APIA move.

Can't get unpaywalled unfortunately - so can't comment on the info in the post.

But, it's two grades of an NPL Youth only club being pulled after being spanked every week. It's probably another case of a club being hung out to dry as Capital Football makes decisions to try and concentrate towards certain clubs

to Cap football is all that mattered was the W team/Club been rescued ? rest no matter ?
