However, there could be a hidden benefit to Mikkola, Eliopoulos, Lampard, Menelaou, Skapoulas and Lopez recovering from injuries. They will be fresh for the run into the last 3 rounds plus finals. It could prove to be a blessing in disguise.

Not how you want players to get a rest but it could work unintentionally.

The team gets better with each match. All the new signings should have pretty much understood the coach’s game plan and system. Now we need Retre and Juach to get fitter.

Agree - my preference would have been a draw. We need Avondale to drop points next week and we need to continue winning to try and grab 3rd spot.

In fairness we could go for humes spot they have a very hard 4 games to finish the season

For that to occur, Hume would need to lose its next 2 matches and Avondale only pick up 1 point from its next 2 matches. Plus we would need to defeat St Albans Dinamo and Melbourne City Youth.
