To be fair we've been subjected to Shakira's World Cup song already for the entirety of the tournament during pre-match formalities except for opening day of countries' respective campaigns.

For another thread but God we need a renaissance of spaces for such things but zoning, councils and big corp and gov won't want people enjoying themselves at low cost.

I just find the song flat and lazy compared to the others at least. Utter the same little title a bit and let some music spin around and sings the chorus once.

I saw an interview with a sport scientist about heat and intense sport and it's not surprising yet staggering what changes happen and potential risks. Alas player welfare is secondary and bad things still don't happen often enough for them to do something.

I’m pretty sure before the tournament I commented on here asking which song was the best and worst. Personally I feel like “Lighter” by Jelly Roll sounds like ChatGPT wrote it which is why everyone online clowned him in memes for it.

I believe in the rules but that has been stretched for years if you want it on point.
