Looking at the line up Gordon CKT might start at hooker, Hayward at 5/8, Curran left back row, Salmon lock.

Bench, Mann, Hayes, Underhill, O'Sullivian, Criitter, Kikau.

If we start well, O'Sullivian will come on at 5/8 after 20 mins, otherwise Critter will come on.

If the game is going well Kiks might come on early in the second half, if that happens, Mann will not get a run. Gordon will come back on to replace Salmon, with Hayward moving back to lock.

The reason for the stuffing around is, I don't trust O'Sullivan to play 80 mins, but i trust him to play 60, and we want to give Critter a rest.

Kiks will not be ready to play 80, but we will want to give him a run.

We need to win the game, but Cirro isn't afraid to make bold decisions, they may be different to the bold decisions I am predicting.

I expect a normal line-up against the Warriors, Critter back at 6 and Kiks starting.

Gordon might progess to being a regular on the bench.
 
This week is crucial for the Tigers, with plenty of buzz surrounding the team. The situation with Luai could either derail their momentum or motivate them to channel their frustrations towards Galvin and deliver a standout performance. Having Preston back is a significant boost for the squad; he was showing improvement during the Canberra game, Kike on the bench. It's great to see him return.

I've also heard that Critter is set to be on the bench as well. With every match being critical for securing a spot in the top eight, I hope the team can really fire up.

Additionally, I've come across some rumors on a podcast that the Bulldogs are considering making an offer for Sam Walker after November 1. Has anyone else heard this news?
 
We might be making a bid for Walker, but getting his signature will be hard.

We are playing another motivated tesm close to full strength this week.

But if we are contenders, we can win without Critter.

Some valuable lessons in the Canberra game, Canberra did play well and got most of the luck.

Start well and the pressure is on the Tigers. We started well against Canberra, but didn't take our opportunities.

If we can win a few gsmes we might be very close to full strength in a couple of weeks.

This game is one where ne need to find a way.

If the Tigers are offside or are holding us down, I hope that the crowd tries tp keep the ref honest.

So far our ref isn't listed.
 
I have never bought the media narrative that we would have won a comp with Sexton and Marhoney. Fans who think that are clueless about footy.

Winning s comp and making the semis regularly is all that counts.

I understand and support everything the club does, but we do make mistakes.

IMO we took a gamble on Turpin to replace Marhoney to save cap space and given Turpin's injury that was a gamble thst was always going to lose.

At fullback we signed 3 options (Bryenton left) and we had 2 good young players. So 5 developing / injured but none ready to replace Tracey. We should have signed a solid experience utility with an ability to replace Tracey.

We have fixed both problems for 2027. That is what I expect the club to do learn from their mistakes.

Fans leaving the game 30 mins early when we lose shows that we have a lot of bandwagon fans who are gullible enough to swallow any BS narrative the media makes up.

We do need more wins, becuase some fans only support the club when we win.

A lot of the media and fans hate Gus becuase he reminds them about how dumb the are. The bigger the moron, the more intense is the hate.

Gus doesn't get everything right, but he puts his chips on the table and he learns from his mistakes. He has learned a lot from making many mistakes over the years.

I can't find the ref for our game against the Tigers listed anywhere.

I am prepared to fly down to Sydney at short notice.

I don't even need to be on the field, I can ref the game from the bar.

Happy to take suggestions from Dogs fans on calls.

I have some dice for the 6- agains.

Signing for Parra for 2027 is a send off offence.

I can even out last week and restore parity.

often wonder if we would have won the competition last year with Sexton and Mahoney. We will never know, but regardless of how things turned out, the media won’t let it go. If we had performed better or reached the Grand Final, they would have hailed the Galvin signing as a success. To this day, however, the media continues to view that signing as a failure—perhaps even on par with the decision to let Thurston go. Would we have won more premierships had we kept Thurston? Again, we will never know.

It is probably for the best that 'Critter' isn't playing this week; we simply can't afford to play injured players. The squad really needs to step up, and it has to start today. Teams like Brisbane and Canberra are really firing at this time of the season. I can see some teams starting to heat up, while others will inevitably slack off. It just doesn't seem like our team has that same "fire" in them; they seem to just go through the motions of what the coach dictates. I hope CC gives the players a bit more freedom for the remainder of the season if we are to have any hope of making the top eight.
 
I don't listen to the media.

I hope we can win this week, I expect the Tigers to be up for the game.

We need to get our defence right O'Sullivan offers plenty in attack, but can be suspect in defence.

No surprise that Api has made a miracle recovery.

IMO Gavin will play SOO and possibly for Australia, Sexton will be lucky to nail down the starting 7 in what looks like being a weak Perth side.

Sexton might have got some confidence in the UK, and improved his game. The biggest problem was him disappearing in some games snd barely touching the ball.

Marhoney and the club just had a bust up that was mostly about money.

Our attack looked good against Canberra we just fumbled some opportunities, the ref and fatigue finished us off.

Letting Thurston go is the worst decision the club ever made.

If we kept Thurston we probably would have won one comp and possibly a few more.

We can never be sure abour winning comps, but Thurston was the best half in the game in his era, and a great leader.
 
If we can't beat the Tigers, we are making up the numbers.

Injures are a factor, especially the injury to Woods.

If we can beat the Tigers we roll on to the next game and we can only afford 2 more losses.

I like the change with Burto moving to centre, perhaps we should have done it earlier.
 
Hi hd, I haben't been able to get into the site. For reasons beyond me the admin keeps blocking me. Buggered if I know what their problem is. So if you don't see me for long periods of time, you know why. While I'm here, listening to the game and it's a much better effort.

Your right we got them at the right time . They are kidding themselves with all these press conferences that all is good at Tigertown with the Luai situation. No doubt that has completely affected the team .
I am glad we flogged them and Galvin got his win over them . They were trying hard to get back in the game by niggling and using dirty tactics but lucky our team kept their composure and played on with the game. Luai must had thrown dozens forward passes in front of the Ref. Only one called back :
Sullivan a saviour at halfback no doubt it's proven that Galvin is better at number six.
Question now is CC keep Sullivan at half back and combine critter and Burto in the centres .
 
I don't know. The presser was a bunch of mixed messages. It wouldn't surprise me if Ciraldo drops O'Sullivan, puts Critta at 6 and the Wahs belt us next week. If that happens I'm convnced it's sabotage from within. If not then my tin foil hat makes me look like a goose
 
O'Sullivian was good at 7, but Critter was also good a 7 in our wins over Manly and the Titans.

IMO Burton and Tuala are our best centres.

We can fit Critter and O'Sullivan into the 17, that gives us good injury / HIA coverage.

We might have Critter on the bench and barely use him or not even use him, if the game is going well.

If we are behind and we need to shift the momentum, Critter or O'Sullivan off the bench is a good option.

Kurt Mann didn't play and isn't in reserve grade, he is probably injured ans may gave been injured for weeks.

I can see Salmon starting at lock and Curran at second row.

Bench, Critter, Kikau, Hayes, Underhill/Hughes, Hopoi, Gordon CKT

IMO most games are being won in the middle we need to handle the size and power of the Warriors.

While the Tigers didn't execute in attack and had patches of poor defence they had a dig, especially in the second half.

Warriors are a big step up, but our side is probably in the best shape we have been all season.

O'Sullivan deserves anorher game starting, and if he is playing well, keep him on.

In future in Burton or Tuala is out we slot Critter in at centre.

If Critter or Galvin is out we play O'Sullivan at 7.

If Tracey is out, we play Kiraz at fullback.

Or we might try some young guys ...

If we get Toups, Mann and Hughes back there is also a log jamb in the forwards and guys like Underhill might miss out.

If we get a chance to rest players, there will probably be a few that need a rest.

I think the club and O'Sullivan have a mutual option we can extend him for 1 year and he might be happy with that.

Perth or PNG might make him a good offer.

Next season, we may have Wood or Conti, but I would want to keep O'Sullivan.

Tits are beating Manly, excellent, I hope they can finish the job.

We need teams 6-9 to lose and we need to win our games, no other results matter.

I think the teams in 11-17 might win a few games and that is exactly what we want.

Hopefully we are not in a showdown with the Broncos for a spot in the 8 in the last round.
