Even though South Melbourne struggled against Dandenong Thunder we still managed to get the job done though.

Not sure if that has been posted.. but does anyone actually know what has happened at Thunder?
How are they signing players if they can't pay them in the first place given the rumors are true?

If senior players are signing with Thunder knowing they have no money, then its a pretty dumb move on their part, unless they're young kids and just want senior football playing time.

With the current squad Preston have they should beat North Sunshine comfortably tonight and move on to playing Heidelberg (another headache for FV unless they play the game at Lakeside).

I think FV have booked HOTM for the Dockerty Cup Final. Let's see what FV come up. They cant push the security costs onto any team given they are the event organisers.

Heidelberg will probably ask for to spectators again or if they do they will complain that they are out numbered and probably blame South again. Do they realise winning Dockerty Cup doesn't get them in Asia haha

There is just no way that FV can accept no spectators at a Dockery Cup final, surely that request will be laughed off. But yet again, Heidelberg are an absolute laughing stock when it comes to professionalism. As a Preston fan, I've appreciated the civilised relationship we have grown with South and Oakleigh (minus the few fans that make things political) I have respect for both clubs, but with Heidelberg, nothing will be changed they just purely hate Preston for all non-footballing reasons. Sad.

Heidelberg only cares about 2 teams - playing against South and Preston.

You do realise that we HATE Oakleigh.I will leave that to other's for why. It's a long story to some extent.

If Heidelberg supporter's weren't so ridiculous hateful towards us, then it would be a decent rivalry.

As for ourselves and Preston, there will always be underlying non-soccer issues, but it is incumbent on both clubs to keep it all respectful.

Problem is that your hard core supporter base still says some awful stuff about 'Hellas', whereas our core support stopped all that years ago.

In fact, it disappeared during that period from late 2000's to 2 years ago when we South and Preston were re-acquainted with each other.

Maybe Preston fans expected that we were the same old club that we used to be? And just assumed we were still chanting the slur's.

They will ask for ticket holders to pruchse on identification.. this was a sticky point for preston in the h&a game along with restricted numbers!
 
Eh with the bergers there will always be hellas supporters who hate them and some of them who hate south melb.
Preston supporters though are always at the center of some μαλακεία. Always starting μαλακείες den crying victim. Eg when we played them at home and they brought a banner for political purposes. Those Preston Boys, people can what they want but the fact is that many of them have said multiple times that they don't come for the football, they come to spread their politics.
