Heatwave collapse at EU headquarters! The European Commission had to switch off the air conditioning in its main building on Friday. The reason: the extreme heatwave that has gripped Europe for days. More than 3,000 employees were affected – but Commission President Ursula von der Leyen (67, CDU) didn't have to sweat.

The approximately 3000 employees received a text message on their mobile phones at noon: “BERL – URGENT – Due to extreme weather conditions, the cooling system of floors 1 to 7 of the Berlaymont building will be forcibly shut down for the rest of the day.”

Commissioners don't sweat
The 13-story building houses Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, her 26 commissioners, and approximately 3,000 employees. Von der Leyen works on the 13th floor, while most commissioners have their offices on the eighth floor or higher – where the air conditioning continued to run.

The Clowns of this site screaming about relatively trivial issues ..... when an actual disaster is happening right before their eyes.

I shake my heads at the utter ignorance.

It's disgusting

Apparently already banned in Germany and other countries, and it only got the attention it deserved once Elon Musk shared it on X, It's been taken down on many platforms, but i managed to watch it on youtube. Its not a hollywood production, but a stark reality of what Europe has become. (filmed in Zagreb, Croatia)
