Whoever wrote this is an idiot, as England and Portugal being on that side of the bracket is only dependent on them fucking their own results up.

If they top their group - like they should be - they're on the Argentina side

The knockouts have improved for European time but there are still some at 3am. The UK fans have moaned a lot this tournament. I felt playing in domes during the day could've maximised the European times if that's important to FIFA.

USA prime time marketing is such a big animal.

I'm not exactly biting as I know it's ragebite shitposting but there are people out there like this.

Had one guy moan about referees at the world cup from other confederations and I agreed that some area much less experienced but when he said Uzbekistan I informed him of the great referee Irmatov.

I also didn't notice that Brazil is actually on the Argentina side too - which means even more stupidity from Mr Muneeb
 
For Algeria. If they win and qualify 2nd, they get Spain in the next round. If they draw and qualify 3rd, they get Switzerland. Could you blame them for preferring a draw?

Iran maybe should have. South Korea certainly could have.

Saudi Arabia had a tricky group with one good result.

The rest got their baptism of fire. This rushed closure to the group stage now gets the tournament into serious mode.

Iran were unlucky. So close v Egypt and no luck.

Korea underperformed with Sons level not as sharp as it once was. They had trouble scoring.
