If Juach is indeed off to Preston aswell and the ofc was an economic problem the simple truth seems to be that we have thrown in the NPL towel hoping we can pull a rabbit out of the hat at pre championship transfer window! Problem is this time round everyone will be more ready, AVO and Preston with more set squads, if oakleigh makes it they will also strengthen and ready squad and most NSW teams the same and all eyeing to win it!
I get the need for a house cleaning but one way alone is problematic.
 
We probably shouldnt underestimate how strong our Aus champs squad was compared to now. We had 2 very good strikers in Aguek and Lavale and we still had the incredible Jake Marshall at the back. 2 of Humes high flying back 4 couldnt get off our bench. Our best 11 was strong and our depth was incredible.

The other teams will be stronger this year. Its more likely than not that we go trophyless this season, which is staggering that we won 2 last year.

Apparently Preston blew away heidelbergs offer for Bul Juach, yet they still got Mourdoukoutis. Its hard not to think that we dont have much to spend right now.
 
Everyone needs to chill out a bit. Less pontificating .... more patience. :)

One thing I want to talk about is our chances of making the Top 6.

I think the continued level of good performance's by Melbourne Heartless Reserves will prove to be very problematic.

But will this continue? We have seen these team's fall away in the past.

I do expect Sunshine to fall away at some point, but I am a bit worried about Dandenong City, seeing they beat a team that had won 11 nil the week before!

However, if ALexandros continues their fall, maybe we will be taking their spot!

Underestimate? just the opposite infact, it should be viewed as the benchmark, we got it all absolutely right in that window, only to then get it almost all absolutely wrong after championship with all the replacements except Eliop!!!

WE try but you watch around you and despair has a way of creeping in! Like.i said though ill wait for close of window and hopefully be surprised.

They are not showimg signs of weaning off, experience may be an issue though and by no means a contender for silverware though.

Dekker in is a good pick up for them... hard to gage from that game last night though in those conditions and with a bit of luck and an atherinos on fire in the last weeks! Defs a harder side than georgies who sitting higher imo
 
Its over guys, club is fractured, nepo baby playing most of the game. Fall over the line against Thunder next week and call it a day. Mid table looms.

Dont count on new signings, the club is struggling to attract players and whoever they are talking to are probably shit anyway. Bonada will come down to whether he agrees terms with Juve by the deadline on Thursday.

I wish we werent in the Australia cup cos thats going to be an embarassment.

Some od our biggest rivals will be in the top 6. I dont want us to sneak in.

Win 2 more games and start focussing on the Aus championship defence.

Season is done. We have officially promoted Mounirouni in the starting 11. How on earth is this even possible. Sad situation that we can't sign players Yoo good pick up but wow we are done for the year
 
I actually feel sorry for Swibel, he has his limitations but has scored in both our last 2 home games. This whole fit Messourouni into the starting 11 has killed our attack. We are using him as a number 10, literally the least creative player you can imagine. Its embarassing.

Wtf was that midfield setup? Huge gaps between defence and attack. It was like a throwback to the Esteban days minus the tall timber.
