Socceroos vs Paraguay 2026 World Cup match thread 🇦🇺🇵🇾

Half time: Paraguay 0–0 Australia, Turkey 2–1 USA.

So far the Socceroos will be finishing second in Group D, advancing to the round of 32!!! However, we’ve still got the second half to play.

The USA have already advanced while Turkey have been eliminated due to their head-to-head records.
 
Man our best chance was when herrington picked out that ball right through their press and we had numbers forward and they were out of position. UGH why were we so slow there.

But good footie boys. Keep it up. Keep the compusure. We will get more chances just gotta finish them.
 
Still a bit tense. I guess Paraguay will be fine on 4 points but very tight if teams keep winning. I expect they'll want to strike with a goal at some point
 
Times flying by, great to watch and we've largely been in control, just need a bit better end product or Irvine on the edge of the box instead of the middle of it, but looking much more likely to score.
