For some reason I thought Belgium were likely a few days ago. I fancied our chances as Bel underperform outside Europe.
The 5 you’ve delineated are awfully tough!
4 are proven big performers at WCs regularly.
The other, Norway, in this WC has looked very impressive.
End of the road for us. Germany are so good in big games - apart from Qatar.
According to NCB, who has done a lot of work on this, Belgium, Iran, Kiwis or Egypt are unlikely to be our opponents.
I’d love Belgium.
Yes - as PJ said - those combinations I listed are for only if we finish 3rd AND qualify as one of the 8 best ranked. You are just considering finishing 3rd. That group is who we play if we finish 2nd. 2nd v 2nd.
Looks like maybe Bos on the right going by the twitter line upGood line up. I wonder who is playing RWB. Or is he suddenly changing to a back 4?
That's what I was wondering too re: Metcalfe at RWB and Bos further up.Herrington in for the first time. What a moment.
Bos or Behich on the right. Seems like a gamble. Unless it is Metcalfe on the right, Bos playing in front of Behich. Popa will always surprise with selection.
ohhh maybe, I didn't think of thatThat's what I was wondering too re: Metcalfe at RWB and Bos further up.
Tony Popovic making six changes to the Socceroos playing list from last matchday.Herrington in for the first time. What a moment.
