Correct. A 1-0 loss means we'll go to fair play points, which at the moment is Korea Republic -4, Australia -4. So.. a 1-0 loss (or any 2+ goal loss) AND we get a single booking in the match against Paraguay means we fall behind Korea.

I actually don't mind this team, it's an interesting approach for sure.
 
If Australia come third, sack Poppa on the spot and get King Otto. If he could work miracles with a bunch of ragtag Greeks maybe lightning can strike more than twice.

Germany first in R32, high probability France R16, high probability Netherlands QF, high probability Spain SF. High probability 17.5 million cheque to FFA to pay it's debts.

If Australia come second good chance to beat group G, Argentina R16, high probability Colombia QF and then high probability either Brazil or England SF. I think this is a better opportunity to go further.

So a win is paramount.

Are you assuming that we'll transform into a team dominating territory and possession for a change? I would love that but I take heed of Jackson Irvine's comments on the unpredictability of the Paraguayans. This could be and I'd love it to be a helter-skelter end-to-end all on the line leave everything on the park real battle that we end up winning. And if we go out we go out with glory and an empty tank

I dont think we will dominate territory but 50-50 since both teams hate having the ball
 
So with Irankunda out injured and Tor only been able to play 45min we r pretty much screwed unless the Italian cums good and scores a few goals.

And that's the fact. A very tight group but 1 win shouldn't be enough to advance.

Ghana are sneaky with their last second victory then one good display to draw with England.
 
Popovic's philosophical monologues don't fill me with confidence. It sounds like he's building up the eorfect excuses when it goes wrong.

I also overlook how determined our players are and once the whistle goes all the speculation is gone.
 
Popovic lightened up later in the press conference and that was nice.

The dye has been cast. He reminded the media and Circati he scored against Paraguay so Circati will score now.
 
No Souttar in the press conference. A starter normally features. Maybe just rotation or he is going to be benched? I doubt it unless it's Geria Circati and Herrington.
