Croatia definitely need to improve ahead of their last World Cup group L match against Ghana especially given that both teams only managed 1-0 wins over Panama and Ghana managed to hold England to a scoreless draw despite all the chances they had throughout the match.

I did pick Croatia as the team I thought would underperform based on the fact that their stars are ageing. Luka Modrić is 40 for example.

They’ve assured themselves that they won’t be the biggest flops though. Turkey took that one.

the ageing cycle is a given, been a great long ride for Croatia always punching and Luka 40yrs amazing.
I admire and luv Croatia hope some new blood comes along soon.
Cahill was 38yrs when hanging up the boots as a matter of interest.

For a country of less than 4 million, I think they are the best over achiever in world football.

He is a legend for us but yep no where the Luka class level obviously.

The Socceroos wouldn't be matched up with Ghana until the latter stages of the tournament though but agree that they are much better opposition in terms of Popaball being able to get a result compared to a side like Portugal.

Both. Clogger also describes someone with little skill. His heading ability was very good, the rest, not so.
