I've ran out superlatives for Lionel Messi, turning 39 in a couple of weeks and hasn't any looked better right now.
He's not running or sprinting, he's reading the flow of the game and do it at ease to think he could have scored another hat trick today if he didn't miss he's penalty but after all he is only human after all but an incredible one but what he's doing is phenomenal.
To think Mbappe will probably break Messi's World Cup record maybe at this World Cup or the next whilst Haaland will be not far behind in the future as well.
I'm curious how Cristiano Ronaldo will go tomorrow, he's too good to stay quiet or perform poorly.

Algeria win. This probably assures advancement in 3rd from that group as Austria play Algeria next. I think we might see some mathematical certainties once groups finish on 3 points and a bad GD.
Algeria win 2-1 against a plucky Jordanian team.The miskick by the Jordanian player which led to an assist for their first half goal reminded me of Kewell's similar miskick against Uruguay in the 2005 qualifying game from which Bresciano scored.

France should eke out a 2-2 draw against Norway in their last World Cup group I match or narrowly run out winners by a 3-2 scoreline.
Popaball should be able to get the job done against Iran in the round of 32 but I don't want the Socceroos to face Belgium to get the knockout stage underway because they're arguably a higher quality side and we may struggle to get a result.
