Good, that’s what you want to be fair, the championship should inspire clubs to show a bit of ambition and to better themselves. That’s the whole idea of a national second div, to raise the standard of football outside the a league on and off the field

Oh, and it's all a big push to be part of the Championship, as the only have Rockdale to contest that with.

Hi all. With the window opening in a couple days, thought it might be fun to share a few mid season rumors/confirmed early signings. Dont bite my head off if not all of these come true, just a mix between what I've been told by players/clubs and what I know are some done deals. Feel free to add to this as well as dispute anything you've heard differently ! Expecting a busy window in VIC with so many older A-League players not getting offered anything.

I don't believe Yoo is happening... He trailed but we have one too many international players and he is South Korean not Oceania...

I had a South player tell me today that he is the only known signing they've made so far and that he is training but as I said, only going off what I've been told so will wait and see this week on that one ! Regarding South a lot of the younger lads were told they would most likely go out on loan and due to an inability to land the targets they wanted have now been told that they are required players for the second half of the season. Interesting to see what happens there also.

Well then Yuki or Bonada is leaving? I dont think that is true. Dovison is out on loan to Bentleigh I believe I didnt get a chance to chat on Friday but the others we thought were going out on loan are NOT now .. and yes its becuase the dumb arses stuffed up their targets (or scared them off with their unprofessionalism more likely;y) ...

Id like Yoo, but NOT as a replacement for either international we have already.

Yoo was born in South Korea but moved to NZ when he was 12. He is a NZ & Passport holder !

I heard Dovison was permanent and not a loan as well. Pope, O'Sullivan and Leech originally were the three who would potentially leave on a short term.

Yes that's what we were told too but more than happy to have them stay...
