To be fair Erling Haaland has played a pivotal role for Norway throughout their World Cup qualification campaign as well as during the World Cup proper in terms of creating chances and finding the back of the net.

you play into a tournament not win it after 1 game - all that matters is getting through the Grp be it 1nil wins, looking shabby or draws.

D doesn't watch any Euro football - he's learning on the WC run.......

Erling Haaland has scored 55 goals in 49 senior appearances for the Norway national team, making him the country's all-time leading goalscorer.
Achieved a historic milestone by becoming the fastest player in history to score 50 international goals, doing so in just 46 matches.

He is the backbone period - debuted 2019 - you can have a great "core" around any team but you need goals to WIN and that he does for the last 6yrs importantly the last 4/5yrs building up to this WC.
 
Messi scores an ok goal, and I'm seeing everywhere talk about it as majestic and stunning. There's been far better goals so far that have not had the same reaction.

Great player and all, but we need to stop with this constant over glazing of certain players.

They also have Sorloth from Atletico Madrid who has multiple 20 goal seasons in Spain. Their weakness is their back 4 which is not on the same level as their midfield or attack. We'll see how good they are when the face some of the best attacks.
 
I missed most of the Argentina game but saw Messi's goals on highlights.He still is so quick thinking and deadly if left alone on the edge of the box.

Yes absolutely granted that he is good but no Halaand.
His % rate would be missed greatly is all I’m saying.
