Ideally we want to pick the best 17 each week and also blood some young pups who may be ready.

Dykes, Cocherane, Spinks, Alatini and Conti may be close to being ready.

If we lose to Manly, i can't see any point in playing injured players instead of young pups

Will need all out to win attitude this week . Definitely missing both kicks and Presto . When both are in form team thrives .
Sea Eagles could be due for a loss hopefully.

After the bye, I expect the team to empty the tank against Manly.

Our best chance is being fitter, having more energy and wanting it more.

Manly have the edge in speed and class. I hope we can wear them down in the middle, win the middle and capitalse.

SOO pretty disappointing, I don't understand Daley's bench rotations.

Aside from some long kicks, Moses offered little.

Cleary was the only effective spine player.

Staggs had a poor game.

Some tough decisions for NSW, QLD spine and backline way better.

I would put some Dogs players in the next NSW SOO side.

1. Edwards.
2. Kiraz -Right
3. McLean/Latrell
4. Critter -RIght
5. Koula
6. Burton
7. Cleary
8. Hass
9. Robson
10. Barnett
11. Young
12. Haumole
13. Murray

14. Api
15. Yeo
16. May/Keown K/King
17. Strange

18. Radley
19. Marki

Plan to use 1-17 unless an injury / HIA happens early. 1-17 can cover most injuries / HIA.

All Moses did in the game was a few long kicks, Burton offers a lot more.

I don't want Dogs players to play but i want NSW to win.

Montoya retiring, i hope we can end the season well for the players who are leaving. That starts this weekend.

My hunch is we will find a way to beat Manly.

Logic and form suggests that we are no chance.

Sport is better when a win against the odds happens, it doesn't always happen

Good team where would you fit Critter , Casey ,Mitchell .. Critter may come off the bench ; Saw him at the local shops the other day looks big and fit . Hopefully him Burto and rest of the boys play their their best knowing that there will be many positions open for game 3 . Turbo will be ready to go . Media talk is Queensland have won it but I don't think so. If the right team is pick I think with Mitchell Turbo and the other guys to come in I think we've got a good chance of winning , I would consider Luai at 6 he's an origin player that can really get into their heads.
NSW have to play off the the cuff style and forget the Structured they have been playing for years .
The cane toads just play what is in front of them. That's the way to play origin that's why they've been more successful.

Michell left centre, Casey left Wing,Critter right centre, Kiraz right wing, Koula fullback (swapping with Kiraz)

IMO Moses wasn't fit, Burto, Luai and Trindall (Sharks) are options.

I have a hunch Trindall is the right mix of kicking game and playmaking.

I think we need more at fullback Kennedy and Bulla (if legal) are 2 names that come to mind.Drinkwater is a 14/19 option.

NSW needs to go for more pace and attacking flair in the backs, more size and workrate in the forwards,

Conti in the final 19 as 22.

AJ is the reseeve in 23, but i have a hunch Hayes is injured AJ may come into the 19 for Hayes. Salmon might shift back to lock, Curran to start on the left edge.

Hayward starting at hooker and Conti giving him a spell before moving to right edge playmaker. Galvin playing lock once Conti moves to 7.

AJ and Underhill definatly play off the bench with Reado or Mann being the last change.

That is what I would do, but I am a bit more funky than Cirro.

I understand the strategy the Australian soccer coach was trying to use.

0-0 at halftime, we are in good shape.

They players were too nervous and timid, especially in the first 20 mins.

It is also why NSW lose a lot of SOO matches.

In big games, players need to be brave enough to play and take risks. Playing too conservative makes players nervous and that can cause mistakes.

Good experience for the young players, the next game we need to try to dominate from the start. What we did in the second half was pretty good.

If is the same in NRL and SOO. The Dogs and NSW need to attack the opportunity, play with energy, commitment and an attacking mindset, good things are more likely to happen.

Interesting lne up changes against Manly, Xerri dropped back to bench, Rinakama to centre. Hayward starting, Conti and AJ in the 19.

Cirrro is trying hard to get a win.

Interchanges might be Underhill, AJ, Conti, Mann/Curran or Hayes might be a late scratching with Curran starting.

Readon was the player left out to make room for Conti/AJ

Not expecting a win but hopefully the boys put in a good performance. Few origin places will be up for grabs Burto I think would be picked if in good form .

Critter to 5/8 is a good move, attack and defence looked better.

Dropped balls were a factor and Manly is a good side in form.

Challenging for both sides to back up next week, but we have another bye.

Beating tge Tits will have us halfway back to the pack.
