Sydney FC title winning midfielder Mackenzie Hawkesby is to move on from the Sky Blues after seven seasons in Sky Blue.

Mackenzie Hawkesby has been confirmed as leaving Sydney FC after seven seasons at the club where she made 114 appearances for the side and scored 28 goals across her seven years of service time, in addition to becoming their fourth all-time appearances holder and winning five major trophies.

Sydney FC have delisted three players from their A-League Women playing list, with Skye Halmarick, Madison Ayson and Heather Hinz all leaving the side at season's end after having served a year of service time during season 2025-26.

Heather Hinz is leaving Sydney FC for a fresh opportunity in the United States but not sure why they had to cull Skye Halmarick given her immense potential and the fact that they're in a rebuilding phase heading into Dub season 2026-27.
