World Cup match watching thread

Tbh I’ve never had a ritual to watch a game on tv compared to when getting ready to actually play a game.
Or pre anything to get set sit on the couch for a koff.
I suppose watching pre game is the build up but I just look forward to koff and let’s go.

Hsp would have a bit of everything because he follows everything.

No mates would have lamington because he thinks his Aussie but actually new Zealand

Pasquali would eat first because he started this whole thing

Js would drink bubble tea because he likes hidden gems
 
Hamilton North Bowling club for the Turkey game. Yank game - will make plans but will watch at home as way too early and lazy. Paraguay, hopefully it’s a game with a lot on the line and will get to Wheeler Place.

Edit: forgot rituals - be heaps nice to people in case Karma is real and presuming the world revolves around me.

I'll forgo the microplastics.

Well, we went undefeated when I wore my home zigzag kit. The tag is still on it and I write the results down. Wasn't wearing it in the games we lost. I should wear it during the world cup but I'd rather wear the new one.
 
Not sure about the Turkey and USA matches - but my government workplace has allowed us SBS on Demand running in the lunchroom, so will go in the office for the Paraguay match (and any Monday or Wednesday matches).

In that case make it a chocolate then.

I'll be watching these games at home and at work and one of them we have an Epson projector which we'll be setting up and HDMI'ing the laptop to it. All sorted.

Used to dislike this version but as The Roos socials embedded this at times it reminds me of our success. If we win Sunday I'll be blaring this at 8am, don't care!

I wish online neo-Nazis would stop using this as background music for their AI slop “Agartha” videos.
 
One Hannover beer garden= we'll be showing all Germany games. No mention of others.

Another beer garden= we'll be showing games during our opening times. (this is a place that notoriously shuts everything off before a match if the numbers are low)

One bar= we're doing 3 open ends this weekend. I won't be going but it is tempting.
