What fitness is O'Neill trying to build? He's not doing anything to push a threshold.
 
No journalist will do it but Popovic needs to be told and asked what on earth the tactics are trying to achieve. Equally some players need to be asked why they go out there with zero interest creating anything.
 
I’m ok with the attacking 3 in the first half in general (Irankunda, yengi and Volpato). Defence got better through the half - but Cheeses Christ the midfield performance…

Passing it back would alleviate your fears. Near the end he started playing higher but someone of that experience should be moving a lot and getting in behind

He's not a creative player. All he's do is relay a ball from side to side. If we're going to have a midfielder who can't play the ball much but can win it then it has to be Devlin.

Oh yeah certainly (in America’s case, in Australia it was almost only home fans). Not surprised at all but it’s just a big change from having seen sold out crowds lol. I’m sure the boys are also noticing a change from the Mexico game.

Someone like Circati won't exert himself but those ehjve been given a chance to impress have also been lazy.

This is exactly why Kai Trewin cannot act as a playmaker in our tactical system and should be utilised as a libero or defensive midfield anchor instead, with Cam Devlin taking on the playmaker role for us instead.
