Lucas Herrington definitely given his potential but Kai Trewin has also been making waves in MLS.Yeah, your probably right. Herrington, O'Neil and Trewin are the MLS saviours of football, we don't need any others.

Yeah, he has, 35 appearances in fact according to Wiki. Cardiff were in the Championship in the 24/25 season and Robertson was playing with them then.Even though Alex Robertson has been promoted to the Championship with Cardiff City he hasn't actually managed to get game time at that level yet.
Harrington is 18 years and potential to go much higher.Yeah, your probably right. Herrington, O'Neil and Trewin are the MLS saviours of football, we don't need any others.
Again I like Robertson, hope he develops next year in championship, but dont compare Volpato serie A player to Robertson league one. This feels like Popovic making a statement with Robertson's omission. By sitting on the fence and not committing to Australia during the qualifying campaign, it may have ultimately harmed his chances of making the final squad.
I appreciate that Popovic took a different approach with Volpato, but McGree's injury created a need that made his inclusion more valuable and easier to justify.
My hope is that this decision has the desired effect and motivates Robertson to return with a renewed hunger to force his way back into World Cup contention for 2030. Ideally, he makes himself available for the upcoming Asian Cup and World Cup qualifying campaigns, because I believe he could still technically switch his international allegiance again before the 2030 World Cup.
I think it's a lot simpler than that. I think Popovic felt he had better players available in his position. This feels like Popovic making a statement with Robertson's omission.
They're both good. Robertson was only in League One for a season and it was too easy. Mid table Serie A is woeful football.Again I like Robertson, hope he develops next year in championship, but dont compare Volpato serie A player to Robertson league one.
That’s disgraceful if a Socceroos’ dad is telling two Socceroos to go and play for other countries. Get Gianluigi Buffon over there. He got Ale Circati to play for us.![]()
'No-brainer': Pompey urged for Adrian Segecic positional change to help him flourish
The Croat started just twice in his favoured position after November, with Conor Chaplin preferredwww.portsmouth.co.uk
Robbo's dad is his mentor? Is he the one behind the Croatia change? Is he been behind Alex not registering for Australia this whole time?
Why wasn't jedinak mentoring him? Wasn't he based in UK? Wtf is going on lol

What does Cristian Volpato bring to the Socceroos?
After 5 years of conjecture, Cristian Volpato has committed to the Socceroos and will (almost certainly) go to the World Cup.aussiescout.substack.com
It was a worried response to JS96 commenting that mid table Serie A was woeful.. If it is so woeful then, by extension, a player for a mid table team who ONLY got a starting XI place 11 times last season and has clearly been frozen out of the new Italian rebuild may NOT be the world superstar we are all praying he will be...Yes, I'm aware you're talking about Volpato. I just can't get my head around why your observation that he only started 11 matches a season is relevant to (i) him being good, (ii) Robertson finding league one easy, and/or (iii) mid-table serie A being woeful. Enlighten me.
