Yeah I actually had the chance for one ticket for the Mexico game at 600 but didn’t take it as my mates would miss out.
The prices are not even a joke. It’s worse.
I’m going to wait. Tbh there are two fam fests near my place. For the first Mexico game the town square will be just as much of a vibe anyway.
The ticket have to come down right before the games.
Last/only time I sold a spare Aus ticket was in Kaiserlautern for the Japan game...also for face value....35 Euro's in the day. The bloke that bought it was happy to pay 300...I not interested in gouging just want Aussie supporters to get to the game

So I guess third party sites have obtained the correct bar codes that will get you through the gate? It's such a mess of FIFA holding their tickets and the private sector getting involved.
Resales nearer to games are inevitable and there are many stories of fair deals in 2006 where people had tickets for knockout games but after being eliminated were happy to sell them to supporters desperate to get in.
Of course if FIFA had priced them very fairly the queues and interest would've been in the millions but they should have found a way to maximise the FA fan contingents.

Sold my spare Aus USA ticket to the last Aussie group I approached in Seattle. Sold it for what I paid $USD550. Got offered $1000 by an American without even trying. Spoke to an American after the game that paid (happily) $USD1,300 2 weeks before the game. Ticketing pricing is foooked.
