Will Dobson was mixed in key statistical metrics for Newcastle Jets this season but he still has a long way to go in terms of his development and definitely has the potential to make it overseas in the future. How good is he?
Ridiculous amount of potential. Already such an important player for the jetties at 18.How good is he?
James Overy has a similar amount of potential having come through the Manchester United farm system but hasn't had as much consistent game time compared to Will Dobson which may be detrimental to his development though.Overy at 18 has just come through one of the best academies in world football. Very excited to see what he could become.

That is huge news. About time.Yes there is always some risk, but United's hit rate of turning academy players into pro footballers is right up there with the best amongst Europe's top 5 leagues, if not the best. The next season will say a lot.
He's very highly rated at Carrington and played the recent FA Youth Cup final for United. He'll likely get a senior loan for the upcoming season to further his development.
I hope that he and Dobson make it. It would be amazing for the Socceroos.
Jariyah Shah is a 17 year old midfielder coming through the United academy now.
The weight of Australian talent coming through right now is the best it has ever been. There are Aussies at good academies all over Europe.

Wow that's massive for Yemen and a surprise. Good for them. Issue is now having to play in fiend state Saudi Arabia.Yemen got the job done 2-0 over Lebanon in their Asian Cup qualification third round group B match courtesy of a brace of goals from Nasser Mohammedoh in the 62nd and 90th minute to become the 24th and last team to qualify for the 2027 Asian Cup.
