And his is where I makes no sense. clubs for off and spend 12 million on someone because of flag inflation when Geria at age 26 for a few hundred thousand would've performed just as well and professionally.

I think in the 90s many Australians went abroad and fans had no idea who they were but after 5 games they realised they had a good one. I enjoy reading about Vidmar, Chipperfield or Culina.
 
Do we call them "Popa's Babes" as the average age of our squad is an unprecedented low 26 years. The 'Babes' are Nestory Irankunda, 20, and Mo Toure, 21, both the kind of dynamic forwards that Socceroos fans have long dreamed about. Behind them comes Alessandro Circati, 22, a current Serie A star in the heart of defence, along side Paul Okon jnr, a 21-year-old chip off the old block, while, overlapping on the left, there’s Jordan Bos at only 23.
One of my mates LFC, DC or Grazor will be able to tell me if any of these youngsters will be given the chance to slip on the green & gold.

I have changed my avatar to the iconic Boxing 'Roo specially for the WC as it symbolizes Aussie sporting prowess against the odds. Those who remember our amazing come from behind win at the '83 Americas Cup will know what I mean as to my knowledge that was when the symbol was born. (see below)

I wonder if Volpato's value will drastically go down now he is officially Australian and not Italian?

All of them will play though, with all of them but Paul Okon Jr being starters.

If you are a league fan too you will remember the term 'Bath's Babes', referring to Harry Bath who coached the St George Dragons to win the '77 premiership. I pinched the moniker from that.
