First Albanian club to qualify for national rounds I think.

There's been, or will be (to the best of my abilities):
16 Greek Clubs (+Nunawading City, not sure if they count though)
+2 Greek Cypriot Clubs
14 Italian Clubs (again +Inter Lions, someone from Sydney can correct me but don't think they're actually Italian?)
11 Croat Clubs (including Cockburn City/Dalmatinac)
5 Macedonian Clubs
2 Maltese Clubs
2 Serbian Clubs
2 Hungarian Clubs
1 Jewish, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Irish, Scottish (Mt Druitt or whatever they're called now debatable again), Timorese/Portuguese, Ukrainian, Nepali, Albanian

Obviously also ~37 non-ethnic clubs, although there's probably a few that are English/Brit/Scots in there. Some of them also not particularly ethnically aligned these days.

Inter Lions are Italian.

Solid effort compiling this list

English and Scottish are both British.
Mt Druitt were founded as Lethbridge Rangers by two Scottish lads. They are now known as Western City Rangers FC.

Awesome list. But it's also too simplistic 🙂, many clubs have merged and have shared mixed heritages. They might be known as one nationality by the fans, or even the clubs themselves only mention one line of their history, but that's being disrespectful of the other club's that are part of the mergers/amalgamations of their past. Some clubs are all too happy to take the other club's players or facilities but quick to drop that club from their history.

Can identify the rest but 2 Hungarian clubs? Didn't know any were still around.
St George played in 2019, for some reason I though Adelaide Budapest were the more 'senior' club in Campbelltown City's merger - but they would actually probably be better lumped into Italian

Hey let’s not squeeze oranges dry haha
Awesome effort by him impressive and beautiful ethnic Aussie football keeps evolving and survives.

Be it amalgamation whatever thankful some part and importantly players can embrace and play for the a surging stronger club.
This is good for the local district as much as it would hurt the floundering club.

Haha not at all, it's a great idea and list. I'm just saying let's not forget about all the clubs that make up the whole. For example, Campbelltown City is made up of two Hungarian clubs and one Italian, how are we counting that here?
Italian of course haha
Look you either call them neutral or Hungarian 2 to 1.
He may not have nutted it down as genuine as you like but no biggie semantics for its not an official survey.
Get what you after

Who’s the Nepali and Timorese clubs out of interest?

Good little selection of clubs from Victoria this year: Hellas, Alexander, Preston, north sunshine and Brunswick juventus/bulleen.

What’s the relationship like between Dandenong thunder and north sunshine these days, would dandy fans get behind north sunshine on the national stage ?
