2026 World Cup Squad

Irankunda's main quality is his powerful acceleration and running/dribbling which is why I think he is best placed on the right or left or even as a 10 ratherthan as centre-forward. He's also too short to be effective as a central striker. Some outstanding players are given free rein by the coach to roam as they see fit. I'd love Popa to loosen the reins on Nestory.

Lot of people talking about us losing to Turkey and beating the US. I actually feel the opposite.

I think we can get a result against Turkey, whether it's a draw or win. It just seems like a game we somehow win.
I think we will lose to the US. I just don't think we will out-luck them.

This is mostly vibes, nothing analytical.

Most of the discussions I’ve seen are about the English pyramid.

Anyway my point was is it worth Tete Yengi staying at Machida Zelvia rather than go back to Livingston? The J1 League’s surely better than the Scottish Championship.
It's definitely worth for Tete Yengi to stay at Machida Zelvia especially since he gets to experience Asian continental football for a second straight season and he could have another breakout season next year off the back of representing the Socceroos at the World Cup.

I love it when our new young Socceroos turn up with talent to burn, but also show character, a very underrated quality these days unfortunately. Tete is mature beyond his years. I wish him all the best

Machida Zelvia have a buy out clause as part of the loan, I guess time will tell on whether they pull the trigger.
