Age cutoff: must be born after 1st of January 1988 to qualify as A league era as this would mean they never had a chance to play nsl as an over 18 player. Choose which year you are plucking the player from

The ? could be any of Oar 2013 (had best crossing in europe that season, killed his career at wc14 and moving to ipswich), Volpato 2026, Leckie in 2017, or Mcgree 2025.

Ppl will be surprised by Kruse but ppl forgot before all the injuries Kruse had the higest peak of any Australian since Kewell/Viduka/Cahill, as the first sub on, nearly forcing his way into the first team over Song Heung Min at Leverkusen, back when German teams were dominating Europe. Still remember watching him against bahrain in 2013 and he tore them a new arsehole with 3 assists. Still remember Les saying he hadnt seen a socceroo with as good of off the ball movement since Frank Farina. Such a shame the constant injuries the next 3 seasons.
