such a piss off all this is frowned upon by the latter uniformed gens.
Judge the league only qualied in '74 - all this easy low balling stuff.

All the ethnics did was just want to play football here and establish their clubs and give to the game and the supporter base.

It should be celebrated not vilified. We're a multi-cultural country and stronger for it - despite what some hateful politicians, media and community members peddle.

correct Q.
Why I irk some members in here towards the NSL and the chest out for the APL - it shouldn't be as such.
Both are train wrecks in their own ways but in the end all we wish for is strength/improvements and unity therefore this incl's the ol clubs as long as they are viable and importantly given the chance in doing so.
I admire what the past had to go through - far harder than today.
 
Controversial opinion about kewell but I know he was an absolute gun at leeds but is it fair to say when he went to Liverpool and so on he didn't really capture that form again. Where would you have him as a player in epl?

His first season he did well. He had 2, kind of 3 seasons of regular football at leeds. Not as good as hoped and injuries had a lot to do with tbat

Im watching all his past games on footballia but its taking years.

He is a surprisingly low touch compared to his games for the roos where he was given a lot of play making responsibility. He also gets very few shots from dangerous positions in the box and rarely sets up a chance with a ball on the deck in the box. Kind of like adrian segecic which will have outrageous moments but be quiet for large parts of the game. He also has a lot more flare than segecic able to take players on even with his back turned like rogic. He is also faster.

So imagine the flair of rogic, the long range shooting of segecic and the speed of rukavytsya. Also good at crossing heading and defending. One heck of a player but had enough weaknesses that even if he never got injured he still probably ends up outside the worlds best 10 of that generation

His first season at LFC he was outscoring Owen from the wing in open play by around Christmas. Owen was taking the penalties. Then the injuries hit. He was the best Australian I have seen just a great player curtailed by injury.

He could have been brilliant in the epl back then but his injuries plagued him big time once he got to LFC.
Crying shame.
Carrying on with shame and keeping to the tune of thread.
He's another top player of ours once he came back got booed so many times coming out onto the pitch.
OK I'm coming from a Syd perspective and back in those days I did attend SFC games and felt so pissed supporters behaving as such.
Someone like Muscat I get - he deserved any bant he copped such a dirty rotten player but HK ?
Like wtf - plenty people are pathetic thinking they a great in front of mates behaving as such.
People would die to play like he did and played for.
