Irvine is most effective by keeping out of touching the ball until it's in the air in the box. Runs into the box and headers are his thing. Any skilled play on the floor is non existent.
 
Mexico bringing on Guillermo Ochoa and Santiago Gimenez at the half for Raul Rangel and Guillermo Martinez respectively.
 
I don’t know how u guys find this type of play excitable. So very bad it’s sad.
 
Irvine airswing there....Toure hit it and blocked but nice follow up shot by O'Neill.
 
Cesar Huerta and Israel Reyes also coming on at the half for Mexico, replacing Orbelin Pineda and Jorge Sanchez respectively.

We have to get used to Popovic's tactical system especially since this is the style of play the Socceroos will be implementing throughout the World Cup proper.
 
That's nice to see Toure working well there. Lacked support but got further up and past a man. Should shoot from time to time.
 
Yeah, O'Neill can do diagonal balls well. Nice idea to get Souttar heading it. We look better now so keep it up.
