A few positives. Should have had a penalty and Mexico a red early. We wouldn't normally concede like that. Fairly tight otherwise. Mo usually scores that chance. We get a look at Leckie and know he's not a starter. Worth knowing now.

Does he have a left boot? As soon as it came he shifted his weight for his right foot. The Mexican was covering quickly but his first time height was great to get it awag from any defender but the curve just made it spin away. Unfortunate.

Agreed.

Leckie is out of his depth now at this level, especially in that position. Offered literally nothing and was the worst player on the pitch by a distance.

Hopefully he isn't starting world cup matches.

Yeah exactly. Unfortunate but better now than in the tournament. Hopefully this hasn't jinxed him.

I'm content in that there is a system in place and the players are responding to it. The big issue is the poor midfielders. Changes to personnel will improve that.

Any questions surrounding Leckie have been answered.

Good minutes for Souttar and Herrington.

Bos clear and strong in his role. Toure starved of the ball so tighter play and once we get Irankunda and Volpato on it should look better.
 
Omg such a bad miss from Tou, and I hate this long ball we are playing. So bad def getting thrashed at the World Cup!. Pathedic.

Agree that Leckie should be culled from the Socceroos playing list heading into the World Cup especially since he tires easily and will struggle to handle the physicality of sides like Turkey and the USA.
