High Volpato Voltage

I've replaced my Azzuri Volpato poster for a Socceroos Volpato poster on my wall. I expect you will all do the same 'you critics,,,😘'
He will get to play at least two more WC's. The alternative meant he would be cleaning out the lockers of the Azzuri players at best as he wasn't being recognised.

There's no news like controversial news. Seeing all the football ignoring press go hard on this angers me when there should be reports on everyone else.

That ABC Sunday morning talk show ignores football and tries to make out other sports and their competitions are much bigger than they are.
 
Think of Socceroos as a good sort. Would you turn this opportunity down if that person says yes to a date, or cling onto a cardboard cut out of a good sort just wishing and wondering?
Volpato took the opportunity.
Even I plan to throw out my cardboard cut out of a glamour some day too.

Very weird. Front pages of news.com.au but just watched ch9 morning news small mention about socceroos playing Mexico nothing about volpato.

Was hoping it would be a big story and get more eyes on the socceroos.
 
I was kind of happy, kind of miffed by the news.
Then thinking about it, he's a young guy who has probably had people in his ears and we all do strange and or silly stuff when young. I'm going to be positive about it and wish him well, hope he's well received by the team and it's a positive experience for him and the team overall.
