For fun? Why do people go and watch Indian clubs?Haha that gave a good chuckle
But people are going on about ratings and attendance. If we're not keeping our best players why the hell are people going to watch??

Well obviously people are always going to follow teams but if we want to be a serious competition we shouldn't be losing players to second division. For fun? Why do people go and watch Indian clubs?
This I can understand unless the lower division in question is a higher standard than the A-League. As far as I’m concerned only the Big Five second tiers are.Well obviously people are always going to follow teams but if we want to be a serious competition we shouldn't be losing players to second division.
Best A League season was during covid when local talent got to play. We should have a decent cohort of AA returning too. It's part of the football ecosystem and healthy to have players move on. It will open up a spot for another young player. If no-one moves to smaller leagues then there aren't opportunities. Young players stagnate or leave themselves for opportumnties.
To a degree you have a point but some players go to a league and you never hear from them again. Imo simmons is better off playing at wanderers at least he is making them a better team. That's another thing how can we do well in asia if players are leaving? It's part of the football ecosystem and healthy to have players move on. It will open up a spot for another young player. What about the ones at overseas academies (Toni Arena, James Overy, etc)?Best A League season was during covid when local talent got to play. We should have a decent cohort of AA returning too.
Every Joey should be making the A League bench and every young Socceroo should be playing.
Don't forget about the pay packet. I don't know the average salary for a J2 player but it may well be higher. To a degree you have a point but some players go to a league and you never hear from them again. There is already a devlin at portsmouth hahaDevlin has interest from 3 unnamed MLS teams + Portsmouth and Stoke.
MaybeIs he better than silvera?
Sam Silvera has reportedly been delisted by Middlesbrough per Football360 which should pave the way for Clayton Taylor to move there as his replacement but nothing has been confirmed from the club yet. This is good news, but doesn’t he play exactly the same position as Silvera?
Weird Silvera was making a positive impact prior injury to then be tossed aside this easily.Sam Silvera has reportedly been delisted by Middlesbrough per Football360 which should pave the way for Clayton Taylor to move there as his replacement but nothing has been confirmed from the club yet.
Sam Silvera falls out of contract at Middlesbrough at season's end and the club may possibly be rebuilding ahead of another tilt at promotion to the Premier League next season but they haven't released their retained list yet.Weird Silvera was making a positive impact prior injury to then be tossed aside this easily.
Yeah so he was playing as RB in preseason doing ok. Then season started got beaten a few times in games we brought in targett and never really got another chance. Or I think he got a few more with the old coach but hellberg doesn't seem to rate him.Weird Silvera was making a positive impact prior injury to then be tossed aside this easily.
