We would ideally be expecting a better standard of refereeing especially given that this is a grand final as well as the fact that the A-Leagues are boasting record performance improvements from match officials.

I guess its ideological, someone decided that its fun to watch lots of fouls to the point where we don't see any takeons or skill

Auckland FC have previously scored goals from set pieces so it may well be the case for them again today.

No penalty given by VAR which only reiterates the permissive refereeing in the grand final and in the league in general.
