I would rest Painter-Andrews tomorrow and not risk him before the semi final next week. Good opportunity for O'Sullivan to make his OFC Pro League debut and get some additional experience. The same should be said for any player carrying any niggling injuries they're currently playing with.

Tomorrow, we play with the following players:

Lopez
Jankovic
Eliopoulos
Lampard
O'Sullivan
Giannakopoulos
Menelaou
Leech
Mikkola
Cocks
Singh

Look to get a 3-0 lead at halftime, and then look to bring on some fresh legs to manage the match until its conclusion. We'll have an 8 day break, so players will have ample opportunity to rest and recover until the semi final.

I like that lineup but i feel we perhaps need to be a little lighter than that. I think inglese starts over eliopoulos and id probs give 1 of lampard or mikkola an early break here.

Jack Painter-Andrews sustained a low grade hamstring strain following the NPL Victoria match against Melbourne City's reserve team but has progressed well through the week and is right for our OFC Pro League Leaders Group game on Tuesday against Bula FC, whilst Che Gorr Burchmore continues to recover from a back injury, with his expected return to play timeframe set for early June.

Lackay looks good when he attacks the line at full pace the way he has done numerous times in this game. I just cant understand here in npl when he approaches the defenders slowly (almost walking pace) and inevitable loses the ball.

Its pure space... look at the full back, he is giving Lackay 3 kms of space to run at him... no such luxury in NPL.

Hes had opportunities to go around the outside of players here as well but doesnt have the conviction to do it. He slows to a crawl and becomes easy to read. Go back to that Hume game at the start of the season he had about 8 one on ones with space in behind and chose to approach the defender at walking pace, lost it every time.

Its not our main defensive line up, so I'm not too fussed.

Coveny needs more time to develop. He's not at the level to be playing regular senior football. I think he might gain significant benefit if he spent time at a VPL1 club.

My concern is even when our best team is on the field we cant keep clean sheets in this thing. Thats fine when we score 3-4 a game but an off day in front of goals will become a problem.

Exactly the match Iw as thinking about.. Everything played to him as a long loopy diagonal ball, by the time he had it under control his full back was closing in..... His pace is his super power... I agree, but he needs direct play and time to be able to use it.

Dont stress too much weve scored 49 goals in 17 matches... lol
