Our best 11 have to be ready to go as soon as the ofc ends, we will be around 6th spot on the ladder after the May carnage, more weeks off in June and the season is over.

Regretting my membership this year and as i said what if we dont win this?

HAHAHAAH I am re... but I feel like they are taking the club away from us... I can take a mediocre year, shit we have sat through so many, but watching our best football through a tv screen and NOT live annoys those of us who spend our time and effort following this club around home and away....

I actually dread winning this... You know this money is just going to be pissed away again.. Those balcony cockheads are gonna be celebrating winning some cheesy coconut trophy just so they can get their picture in the Neos Kosmos.

We're NOT Heidelberg with a cabinet full of little plates and fabric pennants...

Dont be mistaken im with you all.... its disapointing that as south says we bought memberships wothout an ioda of explanation as to what to expect this season!

Thing comes down to results now and bringing home the ofc, we bring it i can forgive as teething issues this lacknof squad depth to challenge for every trophy as shouldve been the reality

So far its not looking good
Out of dockerty
Rapid slide in NPL.
Will be balanced by
Win of ofc trophy
Deep run of AU cup
And hopefully a recovery in NPL (difficult if we stray too far but not impossible yet).
And ready for AU Championship result.

we cant change anything now is my point, as fans we learn from it and make sure they dont donit again with mistakes... id have been happy with more depth and think we couldve done both semi easily... so its a recruitment issue ultimately.

call it what we want its a fifa sanctioned trophy that can be won.. unless you prefer to be the bergers and qualify on merrit for a comp only to be told yet again that you wont be allowed to play bc it hurts the closed shop 'so called' pro league (insert laughs) in this country....

Between bs rejection and exposure i kmow what i want...

Fully with you and i had no idea about this june break they getting.... .makes me all the more angry they didnt have the squad to deal with this shit accordingly.... my fear now is more that this squad come cup championship time will be so burnt that

Last time we missed npl finals we won the championship.. happy to miss it again if it can gurantee a repeat and a final in AU cup with some solid recruiting come june/july and october!
 
I highly doubt there would be a 2 week break in June for the entire first team. A more logical approach would be rest players gradually throughout the month of June for a week or two, but not at once.

Let’s not jump at shadows guys. The team has potentially 3 more matches in the next 15 days. Four players got yellow cards to deliberately serve a suspension in what is effectively a dead rubber against Bula FC.

The team will likely be back the day after the Grand Final (assuming we make it). That would mean they have a 6 day break before they face Hume City away.

We showed a few days ago we can compete and defeat Auckland. We only have 14-15 quality first team players, so it’s a learning for the club to recruit better bench players for next year.
 
We just saw out the second hand given the big lead from the first half. Slow start but the last 20-25 mins of the first half we were dominant and killed off the contest.

Cocks, Mikkola, Pasquali, and Lampard has very good games. Menelaou and the rest of the defence were solid.
 
Hopefully Auckland A league team can sneak into the A league grand final because if they dont our problem player Liam Gillion will be back to face us.

Also need confirmation if the Bula game is a dead rubber, if we lose we finish 2nd. Ideally you wanna finish first so you play the winner of 4 v 5 as the winner of that game will be exhausted before the semi.

If we lose and auckland win we probably play Bula again in semi.

If we finish second, we play the third team in the Leaders Group.

We need 1 point against Bula FC to mathematically lock in top spot. The Bula match technically not a dead rubber.
