I believe AFL are out to get us and there's legitimate arguments but this isn't it.
So you're telling me there are no flares at AFL games or on the way to the MCG. Richmond station to the MCG is known for it.

Just look at every news report on any Grand Final as the fans walk to the MCG. You see them every time. The cameras try to stay tight to who they are talking to but they are always seen.

Not afl but Michael cain when interviewing simon hill had an nrl victory parade full of flares and the news laughing and talking it up, then contrasted that with the same reporters reporting the footy
