Kuol starts!
Not sure if Kuol is low on confidence or has stifled his game to match to let's say gel with more industrious teammates but all I saw was early crosses from him, layoffs to overlapping runs or back passes. Also looked twice as fast as any other (maybe too quick for tight areas) and Sparta sure ain't setting up to exploit it.

Interesting. His fotmob rating was quite high was that misleading?

I watched the second half until he was subbed off, and I wouldn't say so. He always looked like a dangerous outlet, though quite isolated at times because he played wide (which was understandable given Sparta Prague were a man up and trying to stretch the field).

When you think about it, Kuol's actually doing pretty well. Sparta are one of the two biggest clubs in a proper footballing country and he is a teammate of a lot of current international players. If he can properly break into the first team next year (bearing in mind he's still only 21), that'll be a great achievement.

I don't think Garang Kuol's rating was misleading given that he created three chances which is the joint-most in the match including one big chance and only had the one shot at goal which was on target with an expected goals value of 0.03.

I switched on to watch the second half, the commentators mentioned it was a knee injury without mentioning whether it looked severe or not. They also said that O'Neill will probably be involved for Australia at the World Cup so maybe it wasn't a big deal.

Otherwise, Trewin is looking close to the best player on the pitch. I'd never been that impressed by him previously, but he's having a great game today in a decent standard game. He's moved from DM to CB after NYCFC made some tactical switches, which speaks to his versatility.

Yeah I noted that! Sparta Prague are one of the big teams in that league but for mine and a lack of a better analogy Kuol looks like a Melbourne cup winner trying to gel with a bunch of draft horses.

I must have missed all over morning coffee, noted 1 failed take on, two early (yet dangerous crosses), rarely receiving the ball in space and one simple run in behind out wide where his teammate passed straight to opposition fullback.

Silly me for confusing it the other day. It was Watford who sacked their coach which may affect Irankunda. I guess Sergio Diaz Ruiz Garcia Lopez will be amongst the 6 next managers in the coming 24 months.
