I put last night in the Hume, Dandy Thunder and Oakleigh category, to take off those players with 35 minutes left to play and have a bench like that doesnt count as our best team losing. We may have still lost but we will never know.
 
Heidelberg lost 2-1 at Hume. That makes our loss hurt even more. We could have been 4 points ahead today and created a buffer to soften the impact of next week’s expected loss. We’ve really make it more difficult for ourselves.
 
Well we've accepted a further 3 losses in a row but after the ofc our first game back is Hume away so could be looking at 5 defeats in a row.
 
South Melbourne women played out a scoreless draw with Keilor Park in their NPLW Victoria game on the road, dropping points for the first time since the end of March and ending their streak of four wins in a row.

This gane given the dates and the importance to not drop points from get go in ofc was a non starter either way i think.. atleast neither thr villagers nor choakleigh will now complain that we gave away matches to spite the other one.. we care about neither of them equally as much... id take bergers or hume above choakleigh though!

We play Auckland next Wednesday, was an extra 30 minutes going to kill our players? Im not saying we would have won but it would have been nice to see if our guys could turn the tide in the game without sabotaging ourselves.

This season feels far too comprimised. Our membership is the worst in Victoria when it comes to bang for buck, you could see the crowd getting agitated at yet another game being sacrificed.

I fear the clubs reputation will be in tatters with what awaits us the next 3 weeks. Especially next Friday.

You act like we havent lost to Bergers by a cricket score before? What reputation do you fear losing? Everyone knows we are wannabe plastic poutanes. Lets just go to the village, cop our hiding and pretend to ourselves, and the world, that anyone actually gives a fuck about Oceania (except when we inevitably lose there aswell).
