5.9 fotmob rating, Charlotte fc looked disjointed from what I saw... Archie consistently playing off the shoulder of the last defender while his team were progressing the ball with slow buildup.

My point is that Souter is a significant risk if thrown in against elite players coming off high-intensity seasons. It is inevitable that he will lack sharpness.
Personally I would start Burgess, Herrington, and Circatti. Souter on the bench. At least for the first couple of games. I don't think he is a better player than any of those 3.My feeling is that some overrate him. However, if we are chasing a goal late in the game, he can be a really useful weapon coming off the bench.
